guest - springers only come in black and white, liver and white and tri, unless a welsh springer which is always red and white. Please be aware there are 2 strains of ESS - working type and show type.

Did the poster mean blue roan cocker , Ive herd of blue roan springers someone posted asking for one not too long ago here , I have a feeling someone mentioned on a previous thread you can get them .

i could be wrong but I thought there were only 3 accepted colours for ESS, B&W, L&W, B/W&Tan and I suppose anything else is 'non-standard' and 1 colour for WSS - thats a definite red and white ONLY for WSS as I used to show them!!

There were blue roan ESS in the UK. A friend of mine (not with us anymore) had one back in the early '80s
