Do you mean the patchy black and white or black with white chest and paws?

Patchy black and white is called Harlequin and they are very expensive - can cost £3K a pup!

Black with white chest and paws is Boston Black or Mantle.

Remember Danes are very soppy and loyal and love their humans - they are not a dog to be left alone for long periods or your new house will be a good example of a demolition exhibition :D They eat - a lot. They do need regular exercise and careful raising as puppies. Only buy from a reputable breeder who hipscores.

It is difficult to breed correctly marked harlequins which have no flecking & are either white & black or white & blue In a litter bred for harlequins you might get 14 puppies & one  or two harlequins the rest being blue merle harlequin mismarks, bostons(or mantles)blues or blacks I know a breeder who specializes in Harlequins & she charges nothing like £3000 which is vert much a southern price, she only breeds when she whats a puppy for herself & always has a waiting list even for the mismarks & other colours that may be born & hasn't had to advertize her puppies for years as they are sold before they are born
