I am looking to buy a scottish terrier puppy (to be a family pet), unfortunately i am working overseas at the moment and will not be in the uk till the 23rd of Feb and would ideally like to obtain one during my leave period 23rd Feb till the 7th March, at the moment i am having difficulty in finding a dog from a litter that is available during that period.

Could anyone help me in locating one for that period, travel is not a problem (i live in the north east of England). Prefer a dog but not critical.

My e-mail address is tonyfairweatheruk@lycos.com

Hi Guest,

Thing is there are not that many scottie breeders now so if you can find a good breeder with a puppy anytime around this time that would be a first choice over a possibly lesser quality puppy which is avaliable on the dates you say.

Scotties can be strong willed so it is vital you buy from a repuatable breeder who knows her/his line.

I am guessing their will be family at home to watch the puppy so although I can appricate you would like to be there for the puppy also I would put the emphasis on find the right puppy from the right breeder.

Good luck

Pam

Contact one of the breed clubs for details of reputable breeders. There is a Durham & North. Club.
