How often should I bath my dog?

Depends on the breed. I bath my poodle every week. I haven't bathed my Boxer for years!

Yep, depends on breed & coat. That said, if I never bathed my girls again, they'd actually become depressed. The groomer loves having Samma in for a cut/wash bimonthly --she's convinced that Sam purrs to her during the bath.

Glad this question has been asked - I was going to ask it myself tonight. How often should a Lab be bathed?

Tally had his first bath a few weeks ago at just over six months old - he whiffed so lovely afterwards I wished I'd done it sooner!

As long as you use a really mild shampoo then as often as you like. Beware of overbathing breeds where coat texture is a showing considerstion like terriers etc. My hounds get bathed weekly.

How often should we bathe our Lowchen and Chinese crested powderpuff. We haven't bathed them yet and wondered what was the best to use. We were told that tee tree oil was good, and to use powder but which one?
thanks Wendy

We only bath our BT's if they roll in something horrid & we can't stand the stench.
but the do go in the local river a lot on walks

She is a short haired Jack Russell.
Her coat is a bit rough as well.
