Hi Joyce
I have had a look through a book called Sandstone and Mortar which is about old Wallasey and there is mention in there.
It says:
"In 1857 James Harrison and his wife Jane came to live at the Laund which stood in Claremount Rd and Broadway Avenue. When his wife died in 1879 he decided to go and live in Kent where he died in 1891....The Laund became a sort of rest home for ladies and Miss M Muriel was appointed matron."
Claremount Rd and Broadway Avenue still exist but are actually classed as Wallasey Village now rather than just Wallasey.
It is about 20 mins away from where I live so when I get the chance I will pop up and see if its still there for you. :)
Do you want a picture or is it just the address you are after?
Hope that helps anyway :)
