They are not recognised by the KC or the AKC. If you do find any available in the UK, I would suggest that you enquire about eye testing and hip scoring before you buy.

There are several in the UK now and their club is in process of KC registration (may already have been issued with this in fact ;) )

Teri is quite right :)  They have had a breeding programme for many years now & seem to have put alot of thought into their foundation dogs. Health tests, breeding records etc are all being monitored by a governing body and have been for many years in a bid to become a recognized breed.
