i have my first show in feb , but my dog has had to have a patch shaved on his chest by the vet ,before christmas its grown back but not as long as the rest of his fur ,should we cancel or should we go for experince any advice bobsmum

I would go for the experience, especially if it is an open show. There is still time for it to grow a bit more by February too.
Good Luck with your first show

I'd say go for it too. Which show are you entered in? I might just be there :d
Oh you must go. I am sure judges are used to seeing this sort of thing.
Good Luck

Go - I took my youngster last week to a show with quite a large section of his coat shaved off and only partially regrown - he won best puppy and res best of breed :D a good breed judge will look past such a temporary thing. Good luck !
