Hoping to lose some weight, I am reading the book "You are what you eat" by Dr Gillian McKeith at the moment. Have seen some of her programs on the TV and she has a website www.drgillianmckeith.com. It's easy enough to put the weight on but much harder to get it off. With doing 2 long walks a day, it's amazing how the weight creeps on. Good Luck with yours abc_lou.

all i need is either
a.a pill (that is not speed!) to make me feel totally full
or
b.a really tasty lovely food that has zero calories!!!
youd think in 2004 at least one of those two options would be viable!!!

There are pills to curb your appetite, don't where you get them from but my friend had some and lost loads of weight. I am like you i try and do my own diet which cuts out fat and not eat too many carbs but it hardly lasts as i love eating!!!!!

Colleague and I are attending Rosemary Conley classes and follwing a healthy eating plan:) Im learning to love my veg and discover if I eat breakfast, 5 fruit and veg a day, wholemeal bread and under 5% fat I dont crave chocolate etc. Oh and if someone plants a doughnut on your desk you need only throw it in bin to extinguish the behaviour!

I'm about to join Rosemary conley online, it's excellent and has lots of brilliant charts to fill in which i love!! :D

Last year i lost over half a stone with her site and found it very motivating filling in the waist, weight, etc charts. I would recommend it.

I've lost 3stone since getting Spice so the answer is GET A YOUNG DOG! We walk miles, eat less on the plate and avoid wheat/dairy  wherever possible. It's working for me,I even lost 2kgs.over christmas.
Now I've finally got a new job, so hopefully I will lose even more, because I'll be happier and busier than ever. :D

god i blame flynn for letting the rot set in!!!!
before i got him me & the girls were off walking for a couple of hours, obvisley when he was little he couldnt,so we had short walks & if i left him at home id just want to get back to him........
then when he was getting old enough to go abit further found out about his hips being quite bad ,then by the time his muscles had been built up (slowley) to hold his hips properally the damage had been done!!!
wouldnt have him any different though
