Of all your dogs do you have a favourite?

I have two and although I love Rose to bits she is wonderful, my little Ronnie is my special boy...I love him to bits he's like my first born.
He is so adorable and silly and has me in stiches with the things he gets up too. He just is so loving and has a nutty personaltity he is the light of my life.

:d

I love both my dogs equally.
I really couldnt pick between them, seeing as they are two totally different breeds with extreme differences in temperment.

yes  clide is my favourite hes my beautiful big boy he goes everywhere with me even then i go to the bathroom he sits outside the door he sleeps at the side of the bed and he comes with me to take the kids to school and back we are in love,my hubby feels neglected sometimes but clide is much tidyer and not so demanding i know i have 5 dogs and they should all be equal but sometimes theres one that is really special .

I hate having favourites but everyone knows that Arnie is my fave, his just the big dog who lovely, I love showing him (made special as he only does certain shows under certain judges) and he has done me well in handling (although plays up)  The biggest thing that makes him my fave is that his mother was my fave (and still is in away) but he reminds me so much of her when I'm showing him...I'm just waiting for his first vetren at crufts when the critique will read "acts like a puppy" just like his mothers did!

My fave girl has to be moya, I just built a bond with her as she done me proud at obedience training and ended on the same level as my aussie!  Although I rarely show her due to her freakyness and she goes best with either mum or dad, I love her to bits aswell

Arnie and moya are also the only two that say hello to me everythime I walk though the door, maisie and handsome may consider waking up, if either 1) I have something for them or 2) I acctully go to them so they only have to stand up, not walk anywhere!

However I do love them all equaly...just some more then others! :D

I love them all, and wouldn't want to be without any of them, but there's something special about Harry ...
- By Lady Dazzle [gb] Date 14.01.05 17:36 UTC
Like JG I love all of mine and wouldn't be without any of them, but my Poacher is my soulmate and is probably forgiven more misdeeds than all the others put together.

I have mentioned on here before, I feel that I owe the fact that I am still here 5 years later, to him discovering a lump, before I did.  I owe that little dog so much and love him to bits.

I love all 3 of my girls equally I would say. But I think I would have to say Keevy and I have a very special bond. After my Mum died I needed something and as she always had a setter I decided that I was having one. My ex hubby didn't agree and forbade me from having one, but I saved up and with some help from my Dad I finally brought her home. My ex hubby said he would have nothing to do with her, but the day after she came home I found him, Sally his border Collie and Keevy all asleep on the sofa together lol. It was strange but having Keevy seemed to give me the strength I needed to get out of my marriage and start afresh. I love Mads just as much as she is my first Gordon and I have always had a thing about black and tan dogs, and when she was a baby she wasn't the best behaved but she could always melt my heart with her beautiful face and those huge sad eyes. Baby Brianna who is Keevy's puppy will always hold a special place in my heart as I helped her into the world, plus she was a singleton, so I spent lots of time teaching her how to play and socialising her with dogs, to this day she will tolerate other dogs but she sees humans as her family.

I love my dogs as much as my kids and spend the whole day chatting to them about one thing or another.  :D

Crazy? Most likely but I don't care :D

Well that is a tough question - Orry is my best boy, and all of us fight over him - never complaines - does as he is told, cuddles up on the sofa and looks at you adoringly. Freya, well she is just something else, she is naughty, bossy, cheeky, and so loveable when she plonks herself on your lap. I couldn't choose.

My favorite was Chang my black boy .He died at the age of seven and a half.
He got us into showing. That first win he had meant everything.
The first thing he ever won was dog and owner who looked most alike.Chang was a Black Chow loads of fur and my partner is as bald as a badger.
Next show he went on to win best black on show at Chow of the year show.
Loved him to bits.

Like most people here I probably couldnt choose as they are entirely different, one incredibly laid back and the other hyper most of the time but I do feel very protective over the youngest Jay.  He was the runt of the litter and going to be drowned so he is very small for a BC and quite sensitive.  But wouldnt swop either of them.

Like everyone here, I love both of mine, but do admit to favouring my boy. This is strange for me as up until I got him I had always favoured bitches.

they are both different breeds but there is something special about him. What you see is what you get, a brilliant sense of humour, so calm and laid back (most of the time) ;) and I suppose like people, I have just clicked with him. Ella is veryloving, intense, moody, to bl***y intelligent for her own good but totally neurotic

He is my soul mate but I wouldn't be without her :)
- By michelled [gb] Date 15.01.05 09:46 UTC

I love all my dogs, but in totally different ways.  Anton is a naughty little so and so at times but the most loving affectionate dog ever.  We have snogaroonies (kisses) but he likes the sound of the name :d all the time and sometimes we will lie on the floor and I'll ask for a kiss and he lies down on his side, puts his front legs around my neck and gives me a big sloppy kiss :d

Lastar, well Lastar is just Lastar.  THE STAR.  Can't believe that a dog that hasn't lived in a house all of his life, a total of 6 years can adjust so well.  It took him about 2 months to come back into the house when I called him, actually he had to have a training lead on his so that I could get him back in.  He now rushes in with the rest of the dogs.  He now plays with me like my other dogs.  He has now started to jump up and hug me like my other dogs.  Words actually fail me on how good he is, and to add to this he passed his first Obedience test last night with flying colours :d

Lydia, she's my 11 year old who thinks that she's 2 and looks 2.  She plays and plays all the time, not the most affectionate but still wonderful in her own right.

Carina, not the brightest card in the pack but a real sweetheart.  Carina means love and affection in Spanish and she certainly lives up to her name !

Lana, well what can I say about Lana?  She's had a hard time after going missing for 2 weeks after my breakin nearly 3 years ago.  She is petrified of children and would go for one if she had the chance.  She's slightly nervous of men, but other than that is great.  She's the dog with the brains, too many.  She bright, sparky and a joy to see when she's working.  She just adores pleasing everybody.  My dad and her are the best of pals and she's always sat with him looking out of the window, they are such a pair !  It's such a shame that a dog who used to adore everyone is now scared of many, but she is still slowly getting better.
