ok! dont read on if you are of a senistive nature!
having only had bitches before flynn came along,id like to know if this is common amongest the "boys"?

yesterday i walked in on flynn (forgive me admin!) having a "w**k", he was sort of rubbing it hard against his tummy,
first of all i thought he was having some sort of fit.....then i realised what was going on!!!!!! :O
the funny thing was he seemed abit embarresssed to see me but was obviously quite into his rythm & couldnt stop for a while!!!

is this common with the boys?

Yes...but he would not have been embarassed.....he is a dog, I don't think they have the same *feelings* as us :D

hes a border collie!!! a very sensitive breed!!!!! :), they get embarressed easily!
(you should see tara if she falls over when leaping for her ball, she gets sooo embarressed!!!!!)

ok it may not be embarressement how WE have it! but theres defintally something else there, even if its just a reaction to my reaction! ;)

Gosh Micvhelled, you should speak to Bryony, I'm afraid that Brodie has been known to do this, though don't know if Quest has yet :D :D

Hee heee yes this is a "boys" thing, mine bonks his blanket, gets his bed out ie, vet bed and blanket and does "it", then sits down, as if nothing has happened.....at least he isnt doing it on your leg.!!!

Glaz stands with his back end facing you and then slowly leans onto your foot until it pops under neath his back leg near his bits - he then enjoys a foot rub and refuses to move until he's got one!!

Bless him - he's a fine fully intact in his prime male who's never been allowed a girlfriend!!  Poor boy!!

My 3 year old bitch does it with any fluffy stuffed toy she finds and we have had to hide the fleece cushion I bought as she finds it totall IRRESTISTABLE!!! (My children find it hilarious and wanted to buy her her own cushion!)

Humping is banned in our house. Having a dane attached to your leg is neither attractive, practical nor convenient. And there are no toys which are big enough to tickle Willis fancy - literally.

My cavi, makes me laugh as he takes his blanket into the garden to do it, and when he has finished brings it back and puts it in his bed. My youngest daughter once asked, " is Taffy taking his blanket out on a date tonight" So now she calls his blanket his "date" Mind you she has some very strange terms. For example when her socks used to come off " Mummy my socks are running away" She gets "Juicy eyes" when she is upset. "stars" insted of pins and needles. Red apples are known as "snow white" I could fill a book with them, but nothing to do with dogs. Have a good day you all. JX

my parson russell bitch sh*gs my husbands knee on a regular basis! Why? She must be a bit hormonal as she is due in season soon, but she is very persistent.
