my 20 month old labrador is aggressive towards other dogs and people because she's scared. I'm afraid that she will bite someone out of panic. How can I help her to calm down / train her. She is quite obedient and intelligent otherwise.
Thanks, Deb from Bolton

I would take her to trainign classes having explained to the organisers heer problems.  Take her muzzled if she really is bad.  Was she not properly socialised as a puppy, esposed to new things, people and dogs wehn under 4 months old.

Why not join so you can answer it is free and with more information others may have more advice to offer.

Agree, do join and there may be more advice available.
If you are near Merseyside (sorry my geography is not that good) i can recommend a great trainer and a different behaviourist who may be able to help.

You really need some face to face advise, and you may even find that training classes are too much for her - but seek advice from a member of the APDT.
