Hi does anyone know of any gundog training classes in Fife?

Bit out of my area Dylan, I'm south of England! But I seem to remember something somewhere about something up your way, I'll try to remember. In the mean time, what breed? Some organisations specialise in a particular type such as Retrievers, Spaniels or HPR's.

Hi Dylan, try telephoning Coupar Agricultural College, they do gamekeeping courses and will probably be able to point you in the right direction

Thanks for the reply John, something for HPR's as he is a Weimaraner. Eden Wildfowlers say in their website that they do gundog training for the public but the only contact is an email address that nobody replies from. He's really bored at dog training class where he is training for the KC GS gold, does everything asked of him but has started guessing what your going to ask next. He really needs something that is going to work him physically as well as mentally.
Any help in getting a class would be greatly appreciated

Have you tried to contact the Weimaraner club of scotland?  They may be able to help you

Trouble with all "Exercise" type training is providing enough variation to keep the attention. Often, when I was training obedience I would really get silly, suddenly break off and start playing, anything to keep the excitement and fun in it. The difference between obedience and gundog work is that where obedience require instant obedience, gundog work demands a dog to use its brain to work a solution out for his self.

Right, I have something for you, it's a bit out of your way but it could be worth a phone call. People tend to know of clubs and societies around the area where they are, so she could know of something nearer to you. I do not like putting phone numbers on an open board, unless their number is already freely available so I'll PM it to you.
