i have a eight month old staffy who has just went into season for the second time.  it is definetly a seaon as this is the second time that our house has been turned upside down as we also have a male staffie.  she has been bleeding just over 12 days but the blood is definety coming to an end however our other dog has been going crazy for 5 days now and they have been sepearted to different parts of the house.  does anyone know how long this should last or how i can calm the male dog down as all he is doing is panting constantly

he is going mad now as this is the time that she would be ready for him and he knows it
there is no way to carm you dog down sorry.  if its getting to much for you do you think you could get some1 eles to watch you dog at there house or even put him in Kennels for a week?

other then that the only way to stop this happending again would be to get your bitch done so she would have no more season's

She is now entering the fertile part of her season, and both she and your dog know it! There is nothing you can do to calm him down while they're still in the same house. You have another 10 days to a fortnight of this. Can your dog go and stay with a friend, or into kennels, till she's over her season completely?
