Michelled :d :d

I'm just under 5 ft 7", again I have big boobs, slim waist, but my belly hangs down to my hips and beyond :d  I'm a size 14 also.  Due to being taller than some a lot of people think that I'm a lot skinnier than I really am, fortunately I am the only one who sees what's underneath the clothes :d

I would like to lose about a stone but more importantly tone up.  Tried the gym, found it oh so BORING and nobody bothered to help you along, so it's a pain being on your own.  The only problem now is this site and the internet.  Not only am I sat in front of a computer all day at work but now I'm sat looking at this site.  How on earth will i get fit??

I too like all of you want to lose some weight. So to-day I took the dog for 2 walks long walks around our village, in fact found roads I didnt know existed!, and am now on the "Cereal diet". You eat 2 bowls of cereals for breakfast and lunch, and a main dinner at night.

Will let you all know if it works. Apparently you can lose up to 5 llbs a week.I Will get into those size 12 jeans!!!!!

Well girls I have put on half a stone over the New Year until yesterday lovley blow out in London (actually managed to stay pretty good over Chritmas itself) it has been visiting folk after Christmas and tucking into all the left over yummies,a nd just being a pig really.

didn't go to WW weigh in on Tuesday, and think I will gie it a miss this week until I have got back on track for a week and a half startin today.

My one year aniversary with Weight watchers will be on 1st of March and I would like to be my best weight again (9stone 11 pounds, though I had been aiming for 9 st 6, but everyone was telling me off for going too far.)  I am not very tall only 5ft 3.5 (but I lie and say 5ft 4 :D).

I have my goal weight listed on my Gold card as 10stone 5lb.  Was 10st 2lb before Christmas and am 9st 9lb acording to my scales this morning.

I do try not to weigh myself more than twice a week.  Usually about midweek between ww weigh ins so as to not get too much of a shock when they weigh me.
- By michelled [gb] Date 07.01.05 10:06 UTC
youll get back on track!!!! ;)
although i find it easier to lose say two stone than half a stone.
are elkhounds on thurs at crufties this year?if so willcome & say hi to you as flynns mum is working C for the interegional ob (which is on thurs this year)
- By Brainless [gb] Date 07.01.05 11:35 UTC
Yep Thursday?
- By Charanda [de] Date 07.01.05 11:59 UTC
I'm a size 16 at the moment and want to get down to a size 12 (a size 10 would be brilliant but just beyond my dreams at the moment)!!

I'm 5 foot 6 and weigh 11stone 5lbs - before Christmas I was tottering on 10stone 12lbs - I know that if I really worked hard enough I'd probably be able to do it but I just can't imagine myself as slim as I want to be.

I've got no photos of me as slim to aim to get back to and I just can't quite picture it which is making me feel like its impossible.....

Having a bad day today - sorry!!
- By michelled [gb] Date 07.01.05 12:17 UTC
when i lost a couple of stone when i was 17,i couldnt believe the girl in the photos was me,as all i had ever seen was "a fat girl"-i had always been fat as a child. which was weird cos when i looked in the mirror although i could see an improvement i could never see "thin".

now i look in the mirror & see "fat" &  i am! lol! & i see photos & i see fat & they are correct too!
- By scarymary [gb] Date 07.01.05 12:51 UTC

- By Charanda [de] Date 07.01.05 13:38 UTC
I weigh myself once a day first thing in the morning.  I know its each to their own but I find that it helps me.  If I've put any weight on then I know to be extra good during the day and if I've lost some weight then it generally sets me up as happy and motivated with my diet during the day!!
- By michelled [gb] Date 07.01.05 13:48 UTC
wish i could just do that!!! when i used to be addicted to going to the gym, they had scales there & i used to weigh myself when i arrived & left.then i started doing it half way through the work out!!!its not normal that!!!!

ok who takes all their clothes & jewllary off when they weigh themselves at home?
if i did weigh myself still i would!
- By ClaireyS Date 07.01.05 14:13 UTC
Yep - clothes, jewellery and have a big poo :D :D :D :D

(only joking, I get weighed at weight watchers I can just imagine the looks on their faces if I stripped naked to get on the scales - especially if I then proceeded to take a dump  :D :D )

Claire (with whose mind is in the gutter today  )
- By michelled [gb] Date 07.01.05 14:45 UTC
sensible! some poohs must be quite heavy!!!!
- By Charanda [de] Date 07.01.05 14:55 UTC
My OH who is as addicted to weighing himself everymorning as I am swears by a big pooh first thing in the morning and is positive that it can make the difference of a pound or two on the scales!!!

I get up, go to the bathroom for whatever nature decides I need!! ;-) and then stand on the scales as naked as the day I was born (apart from my glasses or else I wouldn't be able to see the scales)!!!!  :-)
- By ClaireyS Date 07.01.05 15:49 UTC
I used to work with a bloke who swears by the "big poo diet" he just ate what he wanted then had a big poo at the end of the day - well it worked for him  :D :D

- By michelled [gb] Date 08.01.05 15:07 UTC

haVE you ever tryed tying a piece of string around your waist so it tightens if you over eat?

whats keeping me on the straight & narrow at the moment is the advert for kelloggs drop a jeans size ,that seems to inspire me each evening
- By scarymary [gb] Date 08.01.05 15:29 UTC

- By michelled [gb] Date 08.01.05 16:59 UTC
thats the problem though, your stomach has got used to eating lots of food! this is why if im dieting i cant eat loads of healthy things or im always hungrey,i need my "enormous" gut to get used to eating less food! or im doomed! ;)
- By michelled [gb] Date 08.01.05 16:59 UTC
i can easily out eat a man too! easy peasy!
- By ali-t [gb] Date 08.01.05 18:06 UTC
have you tried roasted vegetables?  I use a selection of veg including potato, sweet potato, carrot, turnip, leeks, parsnip etc and part cook them using a steamer then spray them with some oil and cover them with herbs and spices (or you can buy ready made packets of herb mix - from schwartz) and put in the oven to crisp up.  they are great, hardly any calories and you can have them with salad, rice, pasta etc.  they are even better with melted cheese on top and are really filling.  I also put lemon or lime juice on salad instead of dressing as it reminds me of the salad you get in the kebab shop - yum!
- By Wolfie [gb] Date 08.01.05 22:33 UTC
Well I've done really well. After cutting down on the huge amount of alcohol I was drinking (well, it has been Christmas) I've lost 6lb so far. Admitedly I have had a tummy bug and haven't been able to eat or keep any fluids down for a day and a half, but I think I've done ok.

I've treated myself to a pizza and a few glasses of Vodka and lemonade :D
