Anyone have any tips on what to do about my newfoundlands ears.  They smell so bad we cant even go near him.  He wont let me clean them no matter how hard I try.  He will let me wipe them out but he goes nuts with itching when Im done.  Hes losing hair around his eyes and ears, and hes only a year old..  I feel like hes going nuts over this and I dont know what to do.  I got some new stuff to clean his ears, so today Im going to tie him up and try to clean them, its so discusting that i feel sick talking about it.  You can smell him from 10 ft away.  Poor guy, hes so sweet and knowone will touch him.  Any tips would be appreciated.

For goodness sake get your dog to the vet tomorrow if possible.

this sounds like a very bad infection to me and need appropriate treatment NOW!!!!!!

The vet will probably need to sedate him to look at his ears, but so be it, your are risking your dogs hearing and health by leaving this as it is!!!
