I went to have a look at a gsd puppy today. the owner has told me she is a pedigree but they couldnt find her papers. i was told there was a white puppy in the litter, which is why she had a very tiny white bit under her chin? could she be a pedigree?

I'd be suspicious if a breeder knew I was calling and didn't keep their dogs papers to hand, but saying that they didn't need to because we were advised to reasearch pedigree lines etc before making any decisions. If you have any doubts walk away. If you are requiring a pet GSD have you tried breed rescue?

the person wasnt a breeder. he had purchased the dog from a breeder a month ago. thanks for your help.
