on average how much can you expect to pat for a pedigree flat coated retriever over here.  i was in america not long ago and there the prices roughly on the exchange rate worked out at about 700-800.
im thinking on a flat coat for a dog and can you expect to pay more for a bitch over a dog or over colour?

It is entirely up to the breeders here. The average price seems to be between £550 and £650 for a puppy. A good breeder will not charge a different price for a puppy regardless of sex or colour. You might find that buying a puppy in the UK, could cause you problems if you want to export it, as the responsible breeders will not sell a puppy without first having had it's pedigree endorsed not for export and progeny not eligible for registration. This is because we have had a problem with dealers, their agents, and puppy farmers trying to buy puppies.
