what is a good age to put our cavalier king charles out to stud as he is very frisky at the moment and in desperate need of a partner???

Sorry, but allowing him to sire a litter will do nothing for his friskiness, other than to most likely make it worse!!! This is positively not the answer. if you still persist in wanting to take this route, then at least have the relevant test done for your breed, which I should imagine would be along the lines of heart/eyes. I am sure one of the regular posters will know far more about this breed than me, and offer the correct/full test details.
