Sorry I know that I should join but I am at work and do not have time!

But Thank you for letting me know this! the vet only said that we have to watch out for a few months and the was 4 months ago!!

They have not tied together and she has not started bleeding yet. I don not leave them alone together as there behaviour started to make me worry abit!!!

No problem...we had a post on this a few days ago but I can't find it.Sure someone said they knew of a liter that had been sired by a castrated male who was 'done' 6 months earlier(DNA tested pups to make sure) hopefully someone will come along and point out the post

Found the post...... its called 'mating' on the breeding board by minnie mouse.
I WAS WRONG!!!!!! There has been a litter sired by a dog 11 MONTHS after castration...rare I would think but it obviously can happen(the dog was then tested at 15 months after castration and was infertile)
