Does anyone know of any Irish Wolfhound Puppies available please? We are experienced dog owners, living in spacious house with large garden in Newbury, Berkshire. I work at home so pup would not be alone during the day. My email is ctr@clarezone.co.uk and tel no is 01635 551555

Have you tried the breeders section and made your way phoning through the list there. Alternatively try the emailing David Malley at www.irishwolfhounds.btinternet.co.uk details for emailing him are on there and I found him really helpful when purchasing my first Irish Wolfhound year ago. I'm assuming that you know all the pros and cons (sometimes more cons than pros in the first year although we're still learning). I also found it really helpful to speak to someone in my local area that bred Wolfies and to get some advice from them. You may also have to be prepared to travel a long way to collect your pup as we were. Good luck with your search.

Many thanks for the advice. I have been in regular contact with David for the last year - but no joy with finding any puppies yet. We have been looking for quite a long time now - apparently there has been a real shortage of IW pups over the last 12 months.
If anyone knows of any forthcoming litters I would be extremely grateful to hear from them.

Elizabeth Murray of the Irish Wolfhound Society is also very helpful - http://www.irishwolfhoundsociety.co.uk.
If you'd consider going to Ireland you could also contact Tom Finney at the Irish Wolfhound Club of Northern Ireland - http://uk.geocities.com/ians13/index.htm. I'm not sure who the Secretary of the Irish Wolhound Club of Ireland is at present, but the Finneys will know.

Know your posting was a while back now but just wondering if you found the Wolfie you were looking for?
