Hello all, I was just wondering how I go about getting my male gsd of 6 months old heamo tested.
I have been told that I have to send away for the testing kit and then take it to the vets, Is this right?

He will be hip scored when he is 1 year as with all of my gsds but he is the only male I have had so I have never had to test for heamo before.

Can anyone shine a little light on how to do it all?

Thanks
Amy

Surely someone on this board knows how to heamo test, after all every male gsd should be tested for it before being bred from and I'm sure there are some gsd breeders out there ;-)

Hi Amy

You need to call John Allinson on 01430 432677 and ask for the kit to be sent to you.  My friend has been waiting since well before Christmas for hers, so I think he may have a bit of a back log!

thankyou very much for your reply...I will give him a call, theres no real rush I just wanted to know where to get them from, so if it dont come out straight away its not too important

Thanks Again
