despite our best efforts our 2 year old Border Terrier has been pulling on the lead for sometime now.  On the advise of our small local pet shop we purchased a lupi and the change has been nothing short of amazing.

At once she stopped pulling totally and trotted AT OUR SIDES with a straight back and a waggy tail.

Could someone with more experience than myself please explain how the lupi works and put my mind at rest that it is perfectly comfortable for her.

thanks

Ermmmmmmm - personally I'm afraid I can't say the Lupi would be my choice of anti pull harness, too much risk of abrasion from those fine lines in the armpit area :(

Hi Moo,
I think it works by pulling up on the dogs front legs to prevent them pulling. you do need to keep an eye on this area though as the lupi can rub and cause friction burns on the dog.
Have you tried the head collars, they work just as well and if fitted correctly cause no harm.
Sandie.

thank you both for your comments, I will keep a close eye on it.  As we don't walk her on the lead for long distances and as she is not pulling at all now, hopefully the lupi won't rub but if I see signs of it I will re think using it at all.  At the moment it is fitting much looser than the old harness that we used previously on her as the lupi is slack when she doesnt pull

I was recommended one of those harnesses for my staffy when she was a pup and I only had to use it once. she didn't like it all and walks were not a pleasure for either of us when she was pulling all the time but one short walk with this harness was enough.  I wouldn't use it long term though because although there is rubber tubing round the (very thin) rope it couldn't have been particularly comfortable for her.
