can anyone suggest books on pregnancy/breeding/mating ect i have the book of the bitch

I have one called The Whelping and Rearing of Puppies by Muriel P Lee, which is a pretty good book

I don't think you can really beat the book of the bitch for up to date info.  some of the older books have some throries and methods that have been proved to bne old hat or even not in the best interests of the dogs.  Iwoulds always check how old a book is as some info may well be proved out of date.

I have a great one called 'Breeding Better Dogs' - will check the author and post back.

I have the Book of the Bitch  and  The Whelping and Rearing of Puppies by Muriel P Lee  - if this book doesn't put you off breeding between the two of them you'll be well equipped ;) 

i also have a copy of whelping and rearing if puppies, the author is american though ( muriel lee) so some of the text isnt relevant to is here, asked for the book of the bitch for xmas but didnt get it!!

AWWW isn't it typical - something you REALLY want for Christmas and it doesn't arrive :(
