After spending a pleasant New years eve tonight with my Boyfriend and parents we walked half way around coventry to get a taxi....i was at the front of the queue and to be fair one couple tried to get me into a taxi thinking i was on my own, which i told them i was not... next taxi came along, i was first and i did look like i was on my own (others were waiting away from me) as the taxi was about to stop this guy physically shoved me out of the way, told me he had been waiting for ages and i should get out of his way!! Talk about new years spirit.
I did shove him back actually more of a reaction to i cant believe what he just did! im 21, he must have been late 40's with all his family around him which made him seem to think he was more deserving of the taxi that me!!!!

Disgusting behaviour! This is why I dont do town anymore, the things I have seen  if he did that on the centre of Bristol on a Friday night he would have ended up in a brawl...Your better than that, and he certainly isn't worth you giving it any more thought...He's probably a bully and a total loser.....

And may be related to the plonker who rang our doorbell at 3.30 this morning :-(

Oh so nothing to do with my b......y neighbours who had a party till 7.30am
and decided it would be great fun to use their skateboarding ramp at 3.30
complete with blaring music and screaming.
I expected some noise but for god sake doesnt anyone think of anyone else any more.
Well we were at a party until 6.30 am, ten came home and continued it till 9 am i then passed out shattered and very very drunk. Since its the only time i do make any noise (other than the dogs barking at 3 am when hubby gets in from work, bouncing about, mooing and barking) and i think it only fair that we shuld be given the one night/morning of the year to have a good drink, have fun without the noise police trying to make us feel bad!
I think its much safer for people to stay in and celebrate new year after i saw someone battered with a house brick 3 years back, he died later from the injuries. I never drink in town over the christmas and new year period any more, i wait it out and have a good new years eve.

I normally have a party here every New Year. At least I know my guests and myself are all safe. The only arguements that I have is who is going to win Twister or if there's any beer left :) I passed out in bed with my dogs at about 4.30am extremely drunk.
I keep noise to a minimum after midnight and make sure my guests leave quietly. I try not to make any other noise for the rest of the year, other than summer BBQ's, so my neighbours are forgiving on New Years Eve :)
Rozzer - my mates are always going clubbing in Bristol, a while ago 2 of them got into an unmarked taxi (they were very drunk) and then got threatened with a gun! lucky they managed to get out unharmed, but they do love to tell me of the fights that happened when they were there... I prefer to stay at home!
