My Lexi is about to shed her coat.   We have had tufts since LKA, and I daren't bath her before the POTY final on 6th January as I am sure if I did it will just allm drop and we will have one single coated Elkhound with hair flying everywhere.

What would you recommend I use to groom her before the event to brighten and freshen her up a bit???

If you're able to get hold of some Plush Puppy Wonder Wash it's great.  Don't need water - takes care of itself - just spray it directly on her or onto a cloth and then wash her with it.  It's self rinsing.  Don't know if you can get it on the net - I usually pick it up at shows.

Plush puppy is excellent stuff, although I dont show - my afghan is currently going through her first major coat change and I cant dry brush her.  So in between baths, and if needed, I use plush puppy, which as you say Wendy is best picked up at show's but there is a website www.plushpuppy.co.uk (sorry cant do links)
