hey my BC codey is bein such a handfull and she knows it she really enjoyed christmas she had such fun playin with wrapping paper its kinda sad really lol.
she is only 18 months old but she is massive lol ive tought her tricks such as sit, give me 5, give me 10, up and down im proud of myself and im only 17 lol.
i was wondering as codey is the youngest she picks on my oldest dog gilly when she plays she really plays rough is this normal lol i mean when gilly has enough she will snap at codey but she still goes back for more do all collie puppies do this or is it just mine
i mean when i let her out she dives at gilly to make her play with her and she will grab a mouth full of gillys fur from the neck and drag her across the room we tell her off but she doesnt care but she dont hurt gilly she is just really boistrous oh why did i have to have a border collie lol
Ill be 17 in january. Moss annoys Ollie in the same way and Ollie does his moan and Moss gets the message to leave him alone. When Amber my 6 month old GSD and Moss get started all hell lets loose and listening to them you'd think they were killing each other, Moss hangs of the corner of her mouth until she growls because he is hurting. Cassie and Hazel were just the same when they were pups then again they still have their moments now. Its funny to take them a walk and watch them all round each other up which often envolves snapping and alot of eye contact and body language its great to watch them.

Hi my Border collies ages range from almost 8 down to 11 months old with a 6,almost 5,and a 3 in between. :) Gillian
I'll be 17 next july and I have 2 Border Collies hehe :D they do agility and obedience and the occasional breed show
Char

My Elkhound pup plays like that with her mother anbd Great Grandmother, but wouldn't dare be so familiar with her Grandmother, and is very gentle with her Gret Great Grandmother, so I would say they will play how the other dog lets them.
My Tula (Great Grandma) makes a big noise about telling Lexi off, and as you say she goes back for more not taking ehr seriously. Now her Grandmother and the old girl can quell her with a look, and never really have to. :D

Hi
I have 2 BCs, Sparky (20 months) and Busby (6 months) - both black and white - half brothers, and great fun.
We've just had a lovely day up in the Lakes, stopping off in a dog friendly pub for lunch was just an added bonus!

hi it's so good to hear others on this board have collies.I have two male 5mth old blue merle pups and they are so gorgeous i have had them since they were 6wks old, they are both very quick learners and are alot of fun to be around starting training classes in two weeks time i cant wait jen
Got three - Laddie, tri-colour, 10; Indy, red and white tri, 2; and Spy, black and white, 8 months. Compete in agility and obedience with Indy, agility with Laddie and Spy will compete in agility when he is old enough. They all do flyball too. I also run the older two as a sled team, except with a bike. Spy will do too, again when he is old enough and finished growing.
