Just wondering if the cane corso was in the DDA or if it was avaliable in the UK.
Im pretty sure they are being bred here now but are a relatively rare breed.
Hi,
no they aren't listed in the DDA. They are being bred in the UK now - interesting breed and one I'd choose if I didn't have Rotts.

there is a cane corso club , but I do not know how to do links. I would think if you put it in the search engine it would come up
The Cane Corso is a breed you need to invest a lot of time and patience in as to regards their training, as they can be a very dominant breed. There are reputable breeders of these dogs in the uk, be careful who you buy from and make sure both parents are hip scored.
These arent the only molosser un-registered breed now available in the UK you know, you can now also find American Bulldog and Presa Canario (Canary dog) in the UK!
American Bulldogs are registered by the UKC/AKC/ABA if you are really lucky you get a dog registered with all three! Pretty sure the Presa can be registered too, just not by the KC. Same goes for the Cane Corso. Also the Olde Tyme Bulldog has its own registery.
With American Bulldogs theres only one registery mentioned above worth the papers the dog is written on ;)
Thanks for all the info :-)
