Hi all,

Just noticed that my 6 1/2 month old puppy has chipped one of her canine teeth, it's one of her adult teeth and she's managed to break the end clean off. Still not sure how she did it, can only think she may have cracked it whilst playing on the beach?

Will this now prevent me from showing her? Not the end of the world but I have entered her for her first show at the end of January.

Many thanks,

Pierre

one of my bitches has a chipped tooth, it hasnt stopped her winning, but then she might have done even better without it, i dont think judges these days are taking as much notice of teeth as they once used too, and as long as the teeth are set properly, iwouldnt see it as a problem.

I wouldn't worry. One of my bitches had a tooth knocked clean out by her brother & went on to win a CC at Crufts!
