I am so proud of Matthew(7) when he was 1 he was really frightened by a little dog. When we got Abby she would walk all over him as she frightened him, he was fine with older calm dogs he really struggled with big and bouncy well after lots of work I took him with me to one of our reunion walks for the big and bouncy dogs in our training classes. I turned my back for a split second when I looked around he was playing with the Akita not bothered at all. There wer 9 dogs out today all charging about having lots of fun and he was having a great time throwing balls for them all. Today was the test a Boxer, Abby, 3 Labs, a Retriever, Akita and two cross breeds he was fine loved every minute of it.:)

Thats brill, next he'll be wanting his own dog lol

He did very well bless him, he used to keep asking if he could have a puppy when Abby had a litter I said yes if Abby ever has pups you can have one(Abby is getting spayed after her next season) that should keep him quiet for awhile:)

Brave wee Matthew :) My Stinkfoot was exactly like this ( and worse) as a little girl,now she is hoping for her own dog. Shes 10. Youre going to have a  lot of explaining to do after the op though :)

Just you wait. soon will come "but mum you said I could have a pup!!!"

Glad he is over his fear...and an Akita isn't small tho the ones I know are very easy to make friends with...FOOD!!!! :D
