i was considering buying a Shih Tzu, but i am not sure whether its the right dog for my families life style.

The Shih Tzu would be alone from 9.00am-5.00pm Tuesday - Friday would this be okay for the dog...or not?

Its not ideal for any dog is there someone that can check on the dog a few times and prehaps take it for a walk could you take time of to spend with it when its a pup. If not then it isnt really fair on he dog to be left all those hours
