I once had a recipe for mince pies where you had to put a blob of philadelphia soft cheese inside the lid before you baked them. I've lost the recipe, but they were the best pies I ever made. Can anyone help please.

I've tried looking in Delia, Jamie Oliver, Gary Rhodes etc but with no luck.

Just try putting mincemeat into pastry cases and add a blob of philly - or is that too obvious ? ;)
