hi,
one of my sibes is a funny eater too, eats next to nothing and also looks a bit too thin, however he is perfectly happy and healthy, he runs on my 2 dog team and is doing well. my advice would be to stick to one type of food, and not pander to her or you will make the situation worse!
if you want to feed kibble get a very good high quality energy dense working dog food, not some cheap rubbish from the supermarket a lot of people i know feed skinners field and trial superior or eaglepack and add a small amount of raw meat to it, tripe and raw lamb are good for putting on weight and you cold add warm water to make the biscuits more appealing. a friend of mine has been using corn oil on her kibble to get extra weight on her bitch.
if you want to feed wet try naturediet, comes in pouches or in frozen packs. i would stop feeding the things you are feeding as it is not a balanced diet, stick to one thing, she will eat when she is hungry, providing she is not ill she will not intentionally starve herself.
my boy picks at his food and rarely eats a full meal but as i say he is very happy and healthy, just not a big eater!
you may want to consider giving her malted kelp from dorwest herbs as this can increase appetite, but remember sibes are designed to be very economical and need a lot less food than you might think. when mine were on kibble, my biggest boy who is about 25ish kg would only be having about 200grms of kibble per day. sibes should not carry excess weight, you should be able to feel her ribs quite easily and should see just a glimpse of the last few. she may just be a very slender girl, but you may find her appetite increases as she matures, i am still waiting for this and my boy is just over 2!
what ever you decide to feed, feed her at set times and offer her the food without a fuss, leave it for 15 minutes without coaxing her or speaking to her, if she is not eating remove it and offer her nothing else until her next meal time, this normally does the trick with faddy eaters.
i know it is hard, but try not to worry! i HTH but feel free to email me if you want any more advice. where abouts are you? are there no experienced sibe people nearby who could look at her and give an informed opinion on her weight and condition?
