I wonder how many of you have noticed the trees & bushes being full of berries this year? This by an old wives tale means that we are in for a bad spell of winter weather! How many have noticed their dogs have suddenly started to eat more as if to fuel up for this. Do you think dogs & other animals (like when we see a strange foreign birds  migrating to this country) have premolitions & know when to stock up! Or is it sheer  gluttony on my dogs part!!!

I agree with you my wildlife feeders are normally emptied every third day but at present the feed only lasts 2 days off to get more wild bird food & peanuts tomorrow & will be putting out rabbit food for the sqirrels too
