Does anyone else have this problem?? I got my new puppy Tosca, because I am living in a new area, and thought it would be a great way to get to know other doggy people in the area. My other dog Max is great for that too, and I always find that when we are out walking we always find someone to stop and chat to. The most dogs I have ever had at home in one go is 3, and now, even though I have only had Tosca for a week or so, I am wondering if I should have another. (My boyfriend will wonder about my sanity!!) I would love another Standard Schnauzer. I had one up until a few years ago and he was really fabulous. So If anyone out there has one spare....do let me know!!
Does anyone else find they are always on the look out for a new puppy, or an older dog....'just in case'?? I think that given my own way, I would have a house full!
why not, there are worse things to be addicted to, as long as you dont get to the point were you cant care for the ones youve got because your over run, i have 3 dogs, soon to be 4, but im not adicted( yet) if i thought i couldnt give each of them the correct love and attention i wouldnt get another. there is a woman i know who is addicted to being pregnant!!!!!!!!
Ahem, I quite like being pregnant too...(I have 4 kids and would like a few more), but I wouldnt just have kids to satisfy the urge, and I wouldnt take in dogs I couldnt care for. I just have far too much time on my hands I guess. Maybe I should be a puppy foster mummy!!
maybe youve just got an addictive personality!! some peolpe like keeping very busy, i tell you what i am addicted to, this forum!!!

have as many dogs as you like lol but make sure that you dont go over the limit!
ive only got 2 dogs but i want more my mum wont let me got any decisions on how i can persuade her lol i really want a english bull terrier i think they really cute and i want a good protection dog ive gone through phases where i wanted a whippet a basset hound and a staffy but still not allowed my mum reckons that 2 dogs is enough when i dont think it it is she says she dont want 3 dogs not fair :0(
Ah, kerrie, i know exactly what you mean, mum says 2 is enough too. Mind you, i do think shei s being sensible in my case, because my 2 arew a handful, and still very young. Hopefully when funds get better i can think about moving out, so really sticking to two is reall quite enough. It doesn't stop me thinking about it all the time though. I'm always planning what breed i would want next, boy or girl, what to call them, all the classes and socialisation i'm going to do etc! WHen i have my own house and a suitable lifestyle i'm definately going to have more. I think 4 will be about my limit!

lol thats so like me i have a 1 year old border collie and a 13 year old patter dale terrier my collie codey is supposed to be my dog but i dont feel like she is as i want a companion and she loves my dad more than me lol when i move out the first thing im goin to get is a dog then another then maybe another lol its just hard to decide which dog you want i have a great list of dog names lol at the mo i got 35 but theres no way i could have 35 dogs lol shame really

well i have three & would have more if i could.
however id only have one puppy at a time though as id want to treasure those precious puppy moments & not have to spread my attention out!
at the moment im hankering after some type of toy breed,so ican have something just to love & cuddle & not worry about training for competition or anything, but i cant at the moment cos of room & time & work etc

Well I have 4 and boy they certainly have their moments!! Anton is going through his jealous stage at the moment so is being quite a handful, but I absolutely adore my dogs, they make me laugh so much at times: I wdn't do without them. I wd. love a pup from my new boy and one of my girls but I just know that I can't at the moment.
