I saw a little pug, very cute, on Friday at LKA when I was showing my Irish Red and White bitch and I wondered who it belonged to? Why was it there on Gundog/ Hound/ Terrier day?! Just being nosy!

Thanks for thinking she was cute!  Her name is Mildred (Watermark Marzipan Kisses) and she was at LKA on Gundog day as I had to be there both days, Friday with the American Cockers, Saturday for Pugs.  Mildred was 6 months old on the Friday, and was entered NFC.  She had a lovely day, was much admired by lots of people, and enjoyed 2 nights stay in a hotel too!

Trust Gwen to confuse people! :D

We almost didn't get in at all on Friday, as having been waved through by the door staff we got stopped by a committee member just inside, who politely pointed out we were there on the wrong day!  Long conversation and again production of passes casued more confusion, as she was down on her Friday pass as an Afghan, so had to pull out her Saturday pass too, to prove she really wa a pug!  But we had a great day Saturday, as she qualified out of a big Minor Puppy class  (31 entered), and then got 2ndin the stakes!  On Friday she was a great assett in delivering calendars and christmas cards which had been ordered to fund raise for rescue - people wanted to buy things just to cuddle the pug!

She proved to be a good selling point then?  he he cute little pug!  Glad all the confusion was sorted out, how silly the commitee must have been when you mentiond NFC!

No, I have to say they were very polite when querying her, but as she so obviously was "on the wrong day" I was a bit surprised at the number of times we were questioned!
