I was walking my two rottweilers today and just as i was passing the gateway to a farm one of them decided to do a poo. I quickly got out my poop scoop and removed the parcel he had deposited. A lady passing by with her friend said to me" That,s disgusting you doing that, how unhygenic can you get, picking that crap up" . I said "Would you rather I left it then Madam?". She said if you do I,ll report you to the authorities. I was too dumbstruck to answer. Can,t win can we sometimes?.
some people  perhaps she was having a blonde day,
At least you and i clean up after our dogs, there are people in our area that carry poo bags but if they think no one is watching they dont bother to clean up
Heidi
I'd have just pretended to lick my fingers and said...mmm but it tastes so good!!!! That would have shut her up!!

Some one said "disgusting" as I picked up Heidi's morning dodo the other day, I said "yes but a great way to warm your hands on a cold day" :D

Mmmm, given me an idea for a new revolutionary invention." THE DOGGY DOODOO WINTER HAND WARMER".
A tough sealable bag in the shape of a hot water bottle, put pocket sized. In fact different sizes from Dachshund to Mastiff size.
Do you think its worth patenting this then,? ha! ha!
Yup I must admit I've said this on many occasion myself and turned a few peoples
faces and stomachs :D
What really annoys me is when you go to dog shows and they don't pick up after their own dogs
and leave others to try and negotiate the piles with laden trolleys etc.
:( I had to wash my trolley and a bag of dog food off today and put the trolley wheels in carrier bags after
getting dog poo on the wheels and the dog food bag.
It really doesn't do the others who clean up after their dogs any favours.
Couldn't agree with you more about dog shows.
Yesterday at LKA, walking in from the West Car Park it was disgusting!!!
In fact today I have a bad back because of it. There is quite a slope down to the first road crossing bwefore the tunnel, someone's dog had left a pile I caught my heel in it, slipped on the slope and ended up on my back (luckily missing the pile by inche's) and also luckily keeping hold of my two on leads. :-(
Spent the rest of the day walking around in agony.
On the way back out to the car park it was everywhere, and I have to be honest and no reflection on anyone but it always appears to be the larger dogs owners who fail to clear up, some of the piles were humungous!!!!.
My trolley wheels are disgusting and it stank the car out all the way home. :-(

Worse thing recently is when the leaves were on the ground in Autumn and we tried the last few times to mow the lawn. No matter how well we scanned the garden for any poos, within a few minutes there it is!! a poo smeared around the ride-on lawnmower wheels! I,m pretty sure the little tinkers hid a few under the leaves knowing we would run over them. Have spent many an hour scraping and hosing poo off the wheels . Dogs, bless em!!
Cat poo is far worse, I went out into my front garden last week to put up the lights and have a tidy round, didn't see the poo but when I smelt it I knew I had trodden in it, I have use all sorts of stuff to stop the cats, there are so many of them here and i am not a great fan, I wonder what my neighbours would say if my dogs went and crapped on their garden, but then cats are allowed to roam.
quick way to stop cat poo - get your own cats. I have two and they keep all the rest of the cats out so less poo in the long run. Oh and the dogs just love it!

I know what you mean  Some people just have no common sense!!! I mean would they rather we left it for them to tread in?? Once I got beeped at by some stupid teen chavs in a car because i was clearing poo up.... I swear I was about to lob it at them!!! (not a good day if I remember rightly! :D)
My mums been telling me how she always notices it is mostly men who leave their dogs poo lying around our park (no offence to anyone on here unless you are one!!!) and I agree with her..... especially the business types. Always to busy on their phones to notice that their giant dog has just done a huge parcel in the middle of the path!
