Hi all
Just wanted some feedback.  I have changed my pups food to nature diet chicken and rice nad he seems to be getting better.  Just wanted to find out if anyone has pups who get the odd bout of diahorrea every few weeks.  The vet has said that he is fine and we just have to find the right food.  Nature diet worked for about a week and now he has started to get a bit more runny.  Should I change to ND lite or do I just have a pup with a delicate stomach

Hi Jen,
We have 2 puppies, one who seems to have a cast iron stomach and the other who is a bit sensitive, and is prone to an upset tummy if her diet varies in any way.  After a few trips to the vet, it was concluded that she has a sensitive tummy.  We feed her on a mixture of meat, scraps and JWB puppy food, which seems to have settled her down (until yesterday when her grandad gave her lots of (human) biscuits, which set her belly off again!). When she has a dose, we make sure she drinks lots of water and then we keep her food quite bland for a few days.  Obviously if your pup continues with his upset tummy, it may be worth getting him checked again (?). I hope this helps,
Helen

Hi Jen,

We have a 9 month old Jack Russell Male who has a sensitive stomach.

After trying several brands of tinned dog meats we were advised to put him on Nature Diet Puppy for 3 days followed by 2 days of a complete dry food (which we add water to otherwise he will not eat it).

Since doing this his stomach is not upset anymore.

Hope this helps.
