Good morning to you and GOOD LUCK :D

I just passed the NEC on my way home from work (I'm on nights) and the signs are really clear. Good luck and B'ham is dry not a drop of rain/fog in sight - so the motorway should be clear.

Snap!!! My Lexi also got her first RCC today, age 15 months.  I had entered two classes, as I needed 3 points for her Junior Warrant, so in fact earned 3 to spare.  Her mother never managed this award as didn't start her show carreeer until 10 !/2 months.  she ended up with 32 points despite foot an mouth, but at the time only had siz of these at Open shows, and you needed 10 (though she actually won more than 10 classes, but with a numerically small breed young classes at Opejn shows are rarely well enough filled).

Lexi (the youngster) won most of her puppy and Junior classes, but didn't earn a singlke point until the middle of July age 10 months, as we had split puppy classes or absentees in the bitch classes.  She had BEst Puppy Awards at Champ shows, a Puppy Group 3, a RBPIS at Open level, and not a point to be had.

This is my first Junior Warrant so special, especially as we get very few in the breed.

well done i know how you feel when to have breed the dog and to get the result in the show ring with a jw my first breed bitch did the same, but sadly teyha miss out bye 2 pionts this year.

well done on the rcc too

Thanks :D

The downer is that it is the Pup of The Year final on 6th January, and she is just starting to blow her coat, can't see it holding for four weeks.  Seems a shame as she is the first to represent her breed at this event since 1978.  Maybe I will just have to put her in the Freezer.  Strict instrudtions to son not to have cuddles on the sofa :D (only joking folks!!)

Well done Brainless and Lexi...see Vinnie got the DRCC yesterday at the age of 8 months!! I saw him at 5 weeks and tried to sneak him out under my jacket then! I've already told Babs I'll swap the OH for him...and she agreed...just got to get Shane to pack his bags LOL.

He went to his new home yesterday and it was obviously very hard for Babs, but of course she doesn't keep males, so knew he would have to go.  It was obviously a wrench having kept him this long wqaiting for a show home for him, as he really looks like he may turn into a really good one.  Such a super temperament too, despite her living in the sticks so assured and happy even at his first show.

I've just spoke to Babs....she's always said what a nice easy little person he was but as you said she can't keep him.Gill is kikcking herself that she can't have him as she thinks VERY highly of him...but with 2 best puppies at 2 shows and a rcc its not suprising.
He is very similar breeding to the pup I booked from babs 18 months ago and would have had one from the litter if I had not already decided on Frankie.Saying that I don't regret it....although Frankies not in the same class as Vinnie I'm pleased with him and if he does as Uncle Asa did he can only get better. He does need to do some serious strengthening up behind but it'll happen in time!
Once again well done to you and Lexi and good luck in January
Nikki
