Hi, what are weim's really like??  Are they good with kids?  I have 2 children aged 13 yrs and 5yrs.

I've met  few and have to say in the wrong hands they are a nightmare! No disrespect to the breed as I    think they are wonderful but obviously need a firm hand and good training.

They are bold, confident, courageous, protective.  They are the hardest of the gundog group and require a great deal of mental stimulation and training and, when mature, exercise.  They are fine with children although of course being boisterous would tend to knock over "smalls".

Two shorthaired, two longhaired, two dogs and two bitches.
