My friend is thinking of getting a labrador.  However it would be in a kennel in the back garden whilst she was at work (school hours).  How do labs go with being in a kennel during the day?  It would be in the house after school and at night time.

All my dogs spend most of their time out doors. They do come inside but dont like it much. They get too hot and will only stay inside if the back door is open.

i think this is a breed specific thing, my breed only like being outside in the height of summer!
