Lana is almost 16 months now and finished her first season approx 2 months ago - the last couple of weeks she has been pawing at the ground before settling to sleep and showing me alot more attention than usual.  Tonight I noticed she is producing milk from her teats - This is my first bitch and I dont have any experience of phantom pregnancy (if of course that is what it is?.)  I also dont want to go rushing to the vet as I know I will get the spay lecture again - Dont get me wrong if Lana needed to be spayed then I wouldn't hesitate but I cant rush into it right now.  Is this a fairly mild form of a phantom?  Should I be worried?  Any advice greatly appreciated, as always :)

Seems like a normal mild phantom. I would give her raspberry leaf tablets, cut down her protein and give her more exercise. Keep her active and don't give her mind time to brood.

To help rebalance her hormones give her the homoeopathic remedy Sepia 6 this usually sorts them out and gets them back to normal
