Many breeds of dogs have abbreviations for their names. This is a thread where you can add your breeds full KC/FCI recognised name and then the abbreviation. Please try not to duplicate the breeds.

ECS- english cocker spaniel (also refered as cockers)
GSP- german shorthaired pointer
GWP- german wirehaired pointer
and the most obvious LAB- labrador

Pugs - no short form (well its short already) but also Mops and Carlin under FCI (french and Germanic names for the breed)
