I am hoping to show my new puppy and would like to start ringcraft classes in the new year. Does anyone know of any classes either in Angus or the surrounding area?

Hi Gill,

Check out the SKC website - from memory I think they have a list of obedience and ring training clubs on there ;)  What breed is your new baby?

Regards, Teri

There's one at Farnell, just outside Brechin. On a Tuesday night, I think. I'll need to check it out for myself in the new year, so may see you there! There used to be one in Arbroath, but can't remember where. They were either a Wednesday or a Thursday.

I have always gone to one in Dundee, but this is because I knew the people who ran it, and was on the committee for a while. It also helped train the pup to behave in the car on longish journeys. :D

Edited to add: just noticed in your profile that you are in Dundee. There are 2. One in Broughty Ferry, at the Castle Green on a Tuesday night. And one in the Lochee area on a Monday night. This one is in a church hall, could take you there, but don't ask me the name of the street it's on

ChristineW will be better able to tell you when she comes on. ;)

There are 2 Ringcraft classes held in Dundee, one on a Monday night at Mid Craigie, the other in Broughty Ferry on a Tuesday night.  Perth also holds a class on a Tuesday night too.

Never fear CW is near!

Gill, the Monday night classes are good & several Cocker owners go, so they will be able to help you a lot.  The church that the classes are held in are just off the Kingsway before Asda's, if you PM me I can give you the secretary's phone number.

THe Cupar and St Andrews one is around there somewhere. IF Christine doesn't know where it is I will find out at mine and post the details. It is quite a popular one I beleive as I hear others that go to mine talk about it.
