Sorry i was trying to post in response to the above post, but its gone so I'll post here instead

I've made a complete mess of this post,

anyway I was trying to say we, had to rehome a springer, not long after we got him as a pup. It was about 8 years ago, I was pregnant, but when i went back to work full time, when he was 12 months old. we didnt realise how miserable he would be. What I'm trying to say is people do make mistakes. We wanted a dog, we got the local paper, and bought one, We didnt realise what everyone on here advocates. Perhaps if we had had somewher like this to go to for information advice etc. We would never have got him in the 1st place. WE made a BIG mistake, we just never thought. I will always miss him. U know but not everyone is perfect

I love dogs, but people do make mistakes, act on impulse, with no forethought. We did'nt have access to places like this then, if we had who knows. Please believe I am not making any excuses for us at all.

Sorry again,
we now have a 6 month old dog, please also believe me this time it was'nt a rash decision, we spent a very very very long time researching the best breed, finding the right breeder, speaking to breed organisations. Waiting for the right breeder therfore pup. To get the absolute best possible advice, for us our lifestyle. To ensure that a lovely friend, IS IN our lives forever, and also looked after properly (AS HE DESERVES) Our dog is  never left for longer that 2 hours, we go to training, to pick up all the tips and advice. we possibly can. Me and my husband, are like sponges. We soak all the information up that we can.

I'm on tenterhooks, trying to make sure that we DO absolutely everything right by our lovely pooch. And I feel guilt every time i think about the one "we got rid off".

He's at his kevin stage stage has been at him since we got him, but this time it's ok, cause We Know what to expect, we are prepared, he is a totally pampered pooch. He is also with us forever, no matter what. Whereever we go, he goes, if he's not welcome. Then we dont go. He even has his own dog sitter for when we shopping, The in-laws.

People do make mistakes. We have and learned a very costly lesson by them.
