ive read in a dog mag that you shouldnt feed dogs Apples, pears, (due to acid) and raisins are also not good for your dog (dont know why??)so we generally dont give her any fruit.  We feed our dog all vegatables but not in excess,  generally we put veg scraps in her diner to make it a bit differant as we give her dry food.  Hope this helps

Most fruit and veg is fine. My dogs pick their own apples, pears, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries etc and have never suffered any ill-effects. Onions are supposed to be bad for them, but I've never met any dog that had a problem from eating leftover human food containing onions, and as garlic is the same family as onions yet is positively beneficial I personally wouldn't worry greatly. Grapes and raisins are also supposed to be bad for them, but again I've never heard first-hand of a dog suffering as a result.
