do you think the colours.. red and yellow and green in dog treats are harmful. i tend to buy neutral ,but i fancy that on the odd occasion on giving a coloured trear,my dog has been sick or has luminous poop. is it the treat. what is in the stuff. thanks ........

As with all foods both for human and animals colouring and additives are added to make them 'pretty' and as with children certain dogs can react badly to these.
I think it is better if possible to feed food stuffs without un neccesary additives .
You may find it both cheaper and better for your dog to make some liver cake...its easy and cheap and dogs absolutely love it.Put liver cake into the 'search'at the top right hand corner and you will find some recipes
