hi whenever i take my dog out she always barks at people and if they walk by us she pulls back nearly choking herself but anybody who comes into the house she greets  them and does not bark at all

She's concerned about people approaching in the street probably, or coming towards her. It's not unusual at all but i would recommend you get help asap with her; someone hands on so they can see what she is like :)
