Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / Help - for my new female pups name?
- By Guest [gb] Date 29.11.04 22:46 UTC
I'm getting a Chinese Crested female hairless pup. I want a name that's not common. I should be getting her sometime after Christmas. I have a pup Shih Tzu called 'Dolly' so that's out of the window! Though should of called her 'Monster'. I like names with meanings, I avoid names like 'Pixie' 'Tinkerbell' 'Princess' Chinese Crested's are Toy dogs, and very different. You either like 'em or hate 'em. But I like dog's that no one else has well, in my area anyway! Where I live it's Staffies, Rotti's, Mastiff's. Though like all dog's just want to be different. Any idea people?! Thanks, Kelly x

You could look up some chinese names and their meaning.  Whatever name you decide enjoy your new dog.

Well my girls are Carina, Lana and Lydia.  I love the name Carina as this is a Spanish name and in English means love and affection !

My mum's Pomeranian girls are Jumel (mum is Judy dad Melvyn) and Mella (pronounced Maya again dad is Mel mum is called Lacy).  I don't know any other Jumel's and people always love it when they hear the name.
