Topic Dog Boards / Health / Does anyone know of Phillippa Rodell ?
- By ClaireyS Date 29.11.04 10:50 UTC
I was at a show at the weekend and met up with one of Fagans brothers who also has a retained testicle, they have been seeing a vet called Phillippa Rodell who is based in Puddletown, Dorchester.  Apparantly she scans them to find it and then puts them on hormone treatment, I think she might be a homepathic vet.  Has anyone heard of her ?  I havent been able to find any details about her and would like to contact her.

Hi Blondebird, you might already have tried this but I just searched on yell.co.uk and got the following.

Weatherbury Veterinary Clinic. The Square, Puddletown, Dorchester, Dorset. Phone 01305 848221.

No mention of the Vet names though, hope this helps.

Thank you, yes I saw that one but wasnt too sure whether to ring or not, maybe I should just ring and see if they have a vet by that name :)

Oh glad to hear that. I have an Irish Setter too, Bailey is 8 years old, He hasn't been shown for 2 years and I hadn't trimmed him for months. Well, he got a bathed yesterday, and I trimmed him up. It's taken years off him, he looks about 3 not 8, but he hasn't any grey yet. I was thinking I might get him into some veteran classes in the new year, but he needs feeding up first, I hadn't realised how thin he's looking. He's very active though, so can you imagine trying to limit his free running. Poor boy.

Good luck with the treatment, I hope you get Fagan in the ring eventually.

Im trying to put weight on Fagan at the moment we met up with a few of his litter mates at the weekend and they all have so much more body than him.  At the moment you can see all of his ribs   It is an uphill stuggle though because he isnt too fussed over food but he loves to run

Good luck if you show your boy again, I really hope that I will be able to show Fagan, At the weekend his sister won her class and his brother came second then his half brother got best in breed (I dont know how he did after that because we left as it was FREEZING)
