Anyone shown their dogs this weekend? I went to Sedgley and Gornal and got Best Import (wasn't hard seeing as we wre the only ones there) and my mum got Res. BOB in Pomeranian's. It did have some sadness at the show though, hope everythings OK! Won't go into anymore as I don't know how things turned out but I hope things turned out OK.

We went to a show at Folkingham Lincs, got 2nd in Junior (Delly is 6 months old) and 1st in puppy rare breeds, BP rare breeds :)

Me and Kayla have had a busy weekend, yesterday we were at Driffield Limit where we got a first and two seconds-nice show restored my faith in limits as the last one I went to wasn't very good, this had a great atmosphere and nice peopole running it! then today we were at Prudhoe & Dis open in Birtley where we got Best NSC Gundog, one other entry(!) then we got shortlisted for the group! I was so pleased as this was only Kay's 4th show, the judge had some nice things to say about her too!
I'm intrigued perrodeagua, hope whatever went on turns out ok, if that makes sense with whatever happened!!!:) well done on your results, we've been there too when you go Best whatever by default but you never know, you might have got it anyway :D!!!!!
Hope everyone else had agood weekend :)

We were at Prudhoe too, Patsy got BOB in Pugs, and then won the toy group. Very proud of her, this is her 2nd group win :) However, Mabel was in a proper pug sulk, and just did not put on a show at all!
bye

I went to east midlands and wen't BOB with our boy, mum went RBOB with our bitch and I went BJH taking in our boy. I was so pleased, If anyone saw me in either class on the lap of honour then you won't believe my boy is 6 years old! (he jumps round the ring like a 6 mth puppy would be allowed to do!)

East Mids was where I was, at Folkingham Lincs? Shame I didn't know you were there :)

Yes folkinham with the cold venue? I was the girl with the blue hands...I was shocked when I looked at my hands and wrists before entering handling, they were all blue...then I had to take my coat off!!!

Think I might have seen you, was watching the mals from afar...

Tall, round, grey hair ...with the pretty Mally puppy :D I was wearing a grey fleece and blue jeans ;) I was the woman who almost couldn't trot the Mal around the ring because of me having frozen feet LOLOL

Oh I know what you mean about the cold feet (I was wearing only pink little strappy flat (not ideal for wet and cold) but lovely to run in shoes that ment I couldn't feel my feet and I had a setter to run

Yup think I saw you...second in junior :D Though I proberly wouldn't regornise you again and all the malamutes looked nearly the same :embarrassed: but then anything thats not an aussie or red and white looks the same to me.... :D

We too were at the show and one of the committe members collapsed. She had breathing problems. I was present and at one point myself and another guy were anticipating mouth to mouth. Fortunately the paramedics got there pretty quick and took her to hospital. the last news I heard was just before we left show. She was in A/E and her next of kin were notified. She seemed pretty ill but lets hope she recovers.

Hi Star
What a shame we didn't know each other we could of said hello ! :d It's great to meet the faces to the names. I was there with my mad black and white Spanish and my mum's even crazier Pomeranian.

Well it was the Nordic show yesterday a favourite one for our breed with no Champ shows in November, so nothing from Midland Counties to LKA.
The entry was 56 dogs, better than many champ show entries.
My 14 month old Lexi was 2nd in Junior (6 present) and won Post Graduate. Her brother won his Junior Class too.
I had entered lots of Variety classes under Albert wight, we won AV Open stakes, AV Junior, AV Post Graduate, 2nd in AV Open Bitch, and then won AV Bred by exhibitor, in good size classes.
Her Dad had gone BESt of Breed and was shortlisted to last 6 for Best In Show.
Club open show today (North of England Weimaraner Society) went Best dog and Best in Show with my 15 month youngster (1CC and 1 RCC JW)

WOW well done gary....

Well done Brainless and Gary on your wins :d
Great stuff Gary.
Hope your head doesn't swell too much. ;-)
Well done everyone else.
would match my other swollen bit eh ???.....MY belly I mean...whata filthy mind you have
Mini me here I don't have a filthy mind like yourself, i'm just sweet and innocent :O

Well, Tia and I came back to earth with a big bump. After Tia's wins and trophy for best black lab in show last weekend, we got thrown out today. And one of the stewards told me flatcoats were in ring 3. Am I missing something ;) But on the up side, the new owners of one of my puppies came to see us at the show and brought him along for me to see him :)
Kay
Kay..... it's the downs that make the ups so special.
Agree Gary, it would be boring to have ups all the time.
Kay you can bet your bottom dollar that if you have an up in this game a down follows very quickly behind!! :-)
Pah.... Stewards just folk who can't show or judge :-D

Tia just threw one of her 'if looks could kill' faces which she is very good at, stuck her nose in the air and walked away, I did the same :) never mind, onwards and upwards eh.
Kay

I went to a club open show and got BIS too. My very first one, still on cloud nine.
Congratulations Gary.

Well would like to say "Well done" to everyone brave enough to go to a show in freezing weather (brrrrr) :)

Well done? I think we need to be told we are plain stupid and need to see someone about it because we are out of our mind! :D
Go on we know thats what you really think :D :P
Stewards just folk who can't show or judgeSo that's what you think is it Gary-Er at our Limited Members all breed show our steward is a Championship Show Judge who breeds & shows champions So where does that fit in your definition of a steward ?
